Our NEW Cornbread Muffin Mix starts with open pollinated, heirloom corn that is raised organically in Central Mexico, where corn is thought to have originated! By using this excellent quality corn in a convenient, easy to use mix, you can now have great tasting, authentic cornbread, without having to settle for inferior ingredients.
Our Cornbread Muffin Mix is made with simple ingredients. The corn from Mexico is tested for both GMO and glyphosate contamination, so you can rest assured this may be the cleanest corn in the United States! The corn is milled just before packaging your mix, so you won’t find a fresher cornbread muffin mix on the market. We also use organic einkorn flour from Italy to help add an airy texture to these slightly sweet muffins.
Since we don’t add questionable ingredients like buttermilk powder or dehydrated egg material, to complete your cornbread you will need to provide the fresh ingredients like milk or other liquid, eggs or a substitute, and your oil of choice. Complete instructions are included to help you bake up a great tasting cornbread muffin.
Cornbread Muffin Mix Directions
- 1 package Cornbread Muffin Mix
- 1 ¼ cups milk or alternative
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten or substitute
- 1/3 cup oil of choice
- 3 tablespoons of butter or alternative
Preheat oven to 400F. Grease a muffin baking pan. Place dry ingredients in a medium bowl. Combine the milk, eggs, oil and butter in a small bowl and mix well. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir just until blended. Spoon the mixture into the muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a wooden pick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans.
