Spicy Beet Kvass Probiotic Drink - 16 oz.
Our Spicy Beet Kvass starts with filtered spring water from a pristine spring located in rural Wisconsin. We then ferment organic beets, ginger, garlic, salt and cayenne pepper to give it a little "kick" of heat.
The flavor is very earthy with a fair amount of spice, for those looking for more heat than our other kvass varieties offer.

What is Beet Kvass?
Kvass is a traditional Russian fermented beverage commonly made from rye bread.
Beet kvass is made from fermented beets and has become very popular in recent times due to the nutritional qualities of beets, which are enhanced when fermented. Beet kvass contains naturally occurring probiotics and is high in antioxidants. It is more hydrating than water due to natural electrolytes, and it has a tangy, salty taste that is very refreshing.
Most people recommend drinking up to 4 ounces once or twice a day as a tonic.
Healthy Traditions Beet Kvass
Healthy Traditions beet kvass is made by small-scale farmers in western Wisconsin. They grow their own beets using traditional agricultural principles, and Healthy Traditions tests the beet kvass for the presence of glyphosate.
We believe this is one of the highest quality of beet kvasses found anywhere!

Note: We store the Beet Kvass cold in our warehouse at all times and should be refrigerated upon receipt. We ship this product unrefrigerated to save you shipping costs. This product can be sent unrefrigerated because it takes many days for the live cultures to wake up and restart the process of fermentation (which could then begin to alter the product taste). We only ship on a date that will allow the product to get to you within a week.

I purchased this product first off because I love spicy tasting drinks. I decided to add this spicy beet kvass to my morning protein drink. It made my wild berry protein drink have a zing to it but not too much. I can't tell u how much I love Healthy Traditions & every item I've purchased & I'm so glad I found y'all & I'm grateful that the products are organic & healthy which makes u my go to company. Oh if I could give this a 10 I would ! As usual , products arrived packaged carefully and timely ! I’m usually cautious of things with spicy in the name . I am so pleased to have read previous reviews and tried this . I just feel better, and I would love to sip this every time I go by the fridge ! I’m waiting and saving for the 5 gallon size

I’m trying to get more fermented foods into my daily routine, but most have too much salt. Finding this oddly delicious SpicyBeet Kvass was a revelation! Lower sodium, packed with nitric oxide-boosting beets, anti-inflammatory ginger and garlic and a surprising, slightly fizzy kick that makes each dose kind of…fun! Highly recommend and will definitely purchase again. This stuff is good!
