How To Raise a Healthy Child in Spite of Your Doctor

Dr. Robert Mendelsohn has dedicated his life to demystifying the medical profession, both as a renowned pediatrician for nearly thirty years and as the widely read author of Confessions of a Medical Heretic and other books. In this practical and informative guide, he turns his expertise to his own specialty, maintaining that parents tend to rely too heavily on their pediatricians and that they can take a more active role in determining which ailments require an office visit and which can be dealt with at home.

Excellent book

I have read books and articles from various health practitioners who are outside the mainline and appreciated them. I am never a fan or believer of modern medical treatments which always involve heavy drugs along with many other forms of intrusion. The author addresses the very fundamental issues of the medical system that have predominated our world and consequently, misled the public and mistreated diseases. Dr. Robert Mendelssohn demystifies the medical profession by making it easy to understand and practice and encourage individuals, starting from parents and home, to take care of their own health. It's an excellent book to be included in your library.
